Any wholesalers in Columbus OH that are doing work in German Village, Victorian Village, Italian Village, Weinland Park, Grandview, Short North, Downtown, OTE, OSU Campus area?

Had handyman buy a chandelier and ceiling medallion to add a little character back to Victorian..11/25 - Unit finished and ready.

There's a difference between a "vintage" house like an old Victorian, and just an old outdated house. 

We have an old Victorian which has been converted into 5-units (we have just recently received the nod from City planning to convert and extend a garage and former common laundry room into a sixth unit).  

I've spent up to $100k+ on tiny, tiny stick built Victorian houses doing full-gut renovations.

People looking for a Victorian are looking for 'character' and not cookie-cutter.

It seems to be a transitional period home with the top dormer having late Gothic Victorian elements and the base an early four-square craftsman transition. 

This unit we are using is independent  - as opposed to being connected back to a central controller which allows you to programme/manage all baseboards from a single location  (these capabilities are available with fancier {read: more expensive}  thermostats).We have acquired several old buildings (Second Empire, Victorian, Edwardian, Georgian, etc) with electric resistance heating.    

If renovated keeping the period style, and in the right location, an updated (new systems, insulated, etc) Victorian or Edwardian can fetch a premium rent.In the end, it's still all about the numbers.
