I agree, diversification is crucial, that is why I will continue with my current W2 income and 12% 403(b) contributions that are 4% matched by employer that increase annually.What are your thoughts on the old mantra of BP talking about going a "mile deep but an inch wide?"

He said once water comes thru these vents, once the ground becomes saturated, it will be filled with water and theres pretty much nothing you can do and with these kind of weather that were having I'm not catching a break. (12 inches of snow last Feb 9)Thank you all for your input.

I'm sure I won't be the only one to tell you that there are a lot of bad ones out there.Bill is also investor friendly - if you're not looking for info about every square inch of the property, he will do a less-involved one (but still hit all the important stuff) for less money ... or at least, he used to anyway.

The inspection period showed the rear basement wall was bowing 1.5 inches and the side wall 1.25 inches (not bad for a home that is 85 years old).
