The tax assessor office website failed to publish the answers to my questions.

To the best of my knowledge there is no definitive book on them that has been published in the last few years. 

Renovated it and got a contract in one day of being on the market.And now, I'm being told the buyer's can't get title insurance in order to finance it.After MANY phone calls and MUCH begging, pleading, and social engineering, I finally got through to an underwriter at one of these title companies and was told that, in order to issue title insurance, they would need:- Notice of Seizure- Notice of Sale with publisher’s affidavit attached.- All records of Seizure and sale of Real Estate (explaining in detail how the sale was conducted/advertised, etc.)- Seized Property Sale Report- Special order of the secretary that permitted the sale of this property in Missouri rather than where the land is located.- Evidence no redemption was filed.- Copies of notice to all judgment creditors whose liens may be extinguished by the sale.I have been unable to get a response from the IRS Agent that handled this sale, so...  

In Texas some of the law firms publish some of the results for a while after the sales.

Unfortunately if you are looking at the legal notice published in the newspaper, I think typically that list of rules and procedures does not make it there.

They publish a list of properties a month before the auction.

My advice would be to read First to a Million (and the workbook), published by none other than Bigger Pockets.

Most places have this information available online, for instance usually the statutes and sometimes even specific landlord/tenant law guides published by the government.
