Every town in RI is mandated by the state to have a certain # of affordable housing units, and nearly every town consistently fails to meet that mandate, so they are very accommodating of projects that help them meet that goal.The downside is, your property will be worth less for a few decades while that affordable housing limitation is in place (less income = less value), but if that's the difference between being able to build and not being able to build, that could still cause you to lean to build anyway.

Over time you may depend and trust your people on the ground a lot more but still suggest to spend the plane ride and accommodation cost, as you will be parking much more money there over the next few months/years.  

The reason we charge is because to accommodate the requests it frequently causes costly inefficiencies in our operations (i.e. having to drive criss crossing town, having to send cleaners back later in the day to clean to accommodate a late check out). 

Also, consider the crime rate and other factors that may impact the appeal of the property to potential tenants.When it comes to finding tenants, targeting travel nurses and working professionals is a great idea, as they often require mid-term accommodations and have stable sources of income.

With that devastation brought lots of assistance and FEMA and contractors that needed accommodations and thankfully we could happily provide.  

A personal rule of thumb is that there needs to be enough room at the dinner table and seating in the living area for everyone that you accommodate.

However I do see your needs b/c the contractor most likely will not be able to accommodate her work/sleep schedule.In my state you have to post a 24hr notice of entry unless the repair is considered an "emergency" but I am not sure which repairs would fall under those guidelines by your state.

There are several condo units in Athens that can not accommodate REI's because of the limitations with % being owner occupied vs. rentals. 

I completely agree - unless you're building your own home, there's no point building anything larger than a comfortable 1300-1500 sf home that accommodates 4-6 people.

In all honesty we’ve been more than accommodating to this seller and still would like to close but I don’t know what he is doing or thinking since he hasn’t responded nor signed the termination letter.
