Why turn your investment over to strangers in another state?  

Lean into that over listening to random strangers on the internet - most of which have a profit motive or incentive to tell you that their market is the best.

The suggestion of putting a lockbox on someone’s house in order for investors/ complete strangers across the country to show it to themselves is cartoon-devilish.For one, it’s straight-up brokering without a license.

Don't be a stranger!

How willing would you be to lend money to a complete stranger that exhibits signs of being over-leveraged but says "I'm good for the money, trust me"?

Realtors and leasing agents are some of the most vulnerable workers out there for the simple reason that they’re exposed to situations that in any other sector would be considered dangerous or unacceptable: meeting strangers in vacant properties by themselves, collecting (often) cash payment on applications, walking strangers up/down stairs to areas of properties without windows or easy exit.

If you never see your asset....well, that's a TON of trust to put into a complete stranger. 

What happens if "the couple" disappear and leave you with a bunch of strangers?

If your attorney has already given you advice, why are you asking strangers on the internet?
