It's a really inexpensive setup and works very well.Or just take photographs with a digital camera or smartphone camera.

Will also be installing internet on this unit so I can monitor my stuff via my IP Cameras and using the basic services of the unit (gas/electric) as I plan to have a refrigerator there.

You could go the unlocked route if you wanted to swap that idea for a CCTV camera as well if you think it would be an issue, but I am not sure what level of concern you have.
