If the app could turn on the mic so we could hear the presentation without anyone knowing that would be valuable for buyer reps and turn on the video camera for door hangers...

Next time I buy an old house, I'm definitely doing a sewage line inspection with a plumber and a camera. 

Easy example-You enjoy photography and have bought or buy a nice movie camera, photo developing equipment, tables,developer computer, etc,etc etc.

Not everyone is as good at talking to a camera!

It's a really inexpensive setup and works very well.Or just take photographs with a digital camera or smartphone camera.  

Will also be installing internet on this unit so I can monitor my stuff via my IP Cameras and using the basic services of the unit (gas/electric) as I plan to have a refrigerator there. 

You could go the unlocked route if you wanted to swap that idea for a CCTV camera as well if you think it would be an issue, but I am not sure what level of concern you have. 

I suggest using a video camera and documenting it when entering.

Stop messing with the cameras or move out.
