Hello, we have a. apartment complex in LA County and want to install security cameras in the common areas.

Issue one showing up to take pictures of the property with a cheap point and shoot camera.

Smart locks and security cameras can also help with tenant management and property safety.  

Did someone put a camera down it to see exactly what's going on?

Squatters break into vacant homes, can present fake leases, and are a valid problem, but if you have cameras on the house, you will be able to get them out right away and you will see them going in.

Alternatively, my go to home inspector uses a FLIR thermal camera on every inspection and can tell a lot about what’s happening in the walls. 

Is there any camera coverage on that area?

This was loud enough for the other tenants to hear which made them feel uncomfortable because the environment now feels hostile and unsafe.Unfortunately, all this started happening when I renewed the lease, which means this tenant is going to be here for the next 11 months and I am obviously not renewing it.My other tenants are very concerned for their safety and I’m seeing on the cameras that this section 8 tenant is having people over every single day.

We had to install a camera to hold them accountable to clean up their dishes.
