I thoguht about starting a forum about it.. but I noticed that @Brandon Turner is always recommending newbies to get started with multi-family, like.. a duplex or whatever, but.. here in Central Florida, they are far and few between, and believe me.. there are investors lined up for the ones that are available (and not available).. but, in regard to buy and hold strategies, Orlando specifically has several unique real estate qualities to it that make it different to almost all other cities.. primarily, (and this is still underrated I feel like) ..this is the top tourist destination on Planet Earth.. that alone is enough to create some interesting markets, and indeed there are.

I also really enjoyed the purchase and remodel process of my own home in Seattle, and look forward to doing it again here in Los Angeles.I'm currently studying for my agent's license and came across BP when my curiosity about wholesaling, REITs, and MFR ownership got the best of me.In all the years that I've watched reality shows about flipping houses and selling multi-million dollar listings, I've always enjoyed the thrill of the wins and losses, but having met so many people that believe it's that "easy", I wasn't sure if I was on the right planet.

I don't work with those companies but I am a former SoCal investor that went to greener cash flow areas.Turnkeys are a wonderful way to invest without the headaches---provided you get in with the right people.
