I believe the app has a battery monitor but each lock also comes with a key so you can't get locked out.

There should be on call property managers for emergencies in any condo complex, plus you know that snow removal is always going to happen, trash service is paid for, and someone is monitoring the community for any unacceptable behavior from guests.

I see the exact same problem in the portable alarm and portable monitoring system product markets.Obviously, the WIFI problem will fix itself in the next few year (it will be ubiquitous), but until then, I haven't decided if the cost of installing WIFI in every rehab is worth the technology gains...it's certainly very close!
