I once re-rented a SFR practically in a day after we cleaned and repainted the place, and was told by people coming by that no one bothers with it anymore, at least in my neck of the woods.

Landscape stones would work, if you were in my neck of the woods I might suggest a nice decorative barrel cactus, but I don't think that would work in WV, even a small tree may be a significant enough deterrent.

Nets out zero on the P&L.I have also introduced tenants to services (counseling for hoarding disorder, in particular) and have helped one Section 8 elderly tenant work through their paperwork.In my neck of the woods, low income elderly people are first in line for Section 8 vouchers.
