Can I rent out houses through my LLC if the homes are in my name?

We recently set up a LLC, but do not have any properties within it yet. We own two single-family homes and are buying a triplex (conventional mortgage with 20% down) in a few weeks.

Do we have to deed the homes in the name of the LLC to lease them out using the LLC?

Check you state laws to be sure. Generally it is fine to list your LLC as the management for the rental and form the lease between the tenants and the LLC.
