If they told me it $2.23 because they applied some complicated algorithm to it, I would be asking questions and trying to figure out why my tea costs so much. 

That's not everyone's cup of tea but it is worth considering. 

If the repubs scare the living stuffing out of everyone over not raising the debt ceiling as it will have to be for the bond market, rates could jump, but I bet the tea baggers will hold out to the last minute to see what they can extort and then things would be fine.
