I am just curious how to protect myself from tenant accusations of hurting himself in the house because of things like: - "the doors are too narrow and I am disabled" or "your stairs or stair case to the patio are too steep I fall and hurt my ankle" do I need insurance for things like that or can I have it worded in the lease agreement that the tenant accepts the condition of the house and won't press any charges if he /she hurts himself??

I have one tenant that is severely disabled and she deserves assistance.

May have to do a separate thread on this where you can tell BP members your experience with health, disability, life and every other consideration when you leave the traditional employment world behind.

So would you rent to someone who says he will show us his disability income through his bank statements?

When and if you PCS you will qualify for another VA loan but all subsequent VA Loans the fee is higher (unless you become disabled).
