I think this is actually the best starting point when investing out of state.Talk to the property manager and make arrangement for the key delivery.

They might even be willing to phase the delivery so you don't have to store things before you are ready to install.

Your cleaner should act as your primary "boots on the ground" and should be able to do things like pick up supplies when needed, set out amenities and accept packages/deliveries for your property.
