Provide garden beds for tenants!

My family is looking into buying some land in California to place a home on as well as have a small personal garden for now.  

A huge master suite on the first floor with his & hers walk in closet a huge walk-in shower and garden tub.

It would convert the basement of a 3K-4K sqft home into a garden unit.

- The property already has a housekeeper, pool maintenance guy, gardener and handyman who know the home. 

Gardening, hunting, fishing, first aid training, house repair expertise? 

Our strategy will now be to utilize the outdoor space as efficiently as possible, including adding a raised garden bed for growing produce and plenty of shaded landscaping areas.

With some improvements to the property (explained below), we expect to rent the garden unit for $1,000+/mo (1 bed/1 bath) and the 1st floor unit (3 beds/1 bath) for $1,500+/mo.
