The county recorder shows a Judgement (Family) just a few weeks ago with the husband being the direct name and the wife (both married name and family name) being the reverse name.  

You may find that any judgement will involve an even longer pay back.

But remember the more experience likely the higher the billing rate will be so it will require some judgement to assess who meets your needs best.On a related theme you might ask for a name of some of this person's clients that are also engaged in activities similar to yours, or at least some general background on these clients if names are not to be revealed.You might ask your attorney or banker or insurance agent (if you have one or more) for a referral.

You will need a physical address for him and will need to file in the court where the property is locatedKeep in mind, even with a judgement from the court, it is very difficult to collect in Texas. 

Either way, the legal fees were a killer and this sub was pretty much judgement-proof so there was no recovering them.

We have to be on the West side of town for then next couple of years due to my daughter's school (located on Westheimer and Fountain View).I can find deals for other people left and right, but when it comes to buying MY own house - I let my judgement get clouded with emotions and sentimental stuff.

I am awaiting the foreclosure proceedings and judgement amounts to confirm all the numbers and timing.
