@Stefano MitranoIf you do not have mls access you can browse trulia, redfin, zillow etc to get an understanding of where current prices are.. are you looking commercial or residential?

Hey everyone,Out of pure curiosity, I started browsing Loopnet for a market I normally wouldn't even dare to look at.

You can start by networking with wholesalers (a good investor-friendly Realtor can help you here), browsing auction websites, asking a Realtor to set you up on a customized search, calling/driving for dollars, working your personal database, and sending mailers. 

I am putting together the procedures and spreadsheets to crunch the numbers for various properties (still in the early stages of this) to make sure that I only go after the fair, good, and hopefully great deals.I came here mainly seeking information at first, browsing without really posting myself, creating a membership, etc...

I will be browsing through the forums too but there is a lot to catch up on so I apologize for any duplicating you may have to endure.

Keep on with your Real Estate education by browsing, reading, listening, building your network and completing your BP profile too (which is a priority while you are here).

I want to learn all i can while browsing the forums here and come up with a solid plan before I buy my first property.
