Hello dear fellow investors,I've just bought an easy fixer upper that only needs cosmetic improvements (a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, clean the pool).

So, I have recently found myself in a similar scenario, way outside my comfort zone, and would really appreciate any insight that anyone is willing to take the time to give.I recently got my RE license, mainly in hopes to save money on my own future purchases, both primary residence as well as future investment properties.

Based on Price and Minimum Stay.In the previous 2 years, I've just done 5 day minimums and have gotten 5 night stays or a week (10% off).

I've just embarked on my journey into the exciting world of Real Estate Investing and have set my sights on house hacking as my first venture!

I've just put in an offer on a 3/2 SFH that I plan to house hack with a finished basement and an FHA loan.  

It's funny because I've told my wife that I feel like a vulture in the sense that the properties I own have existed and housed people before me and will continue after me, I've just written my name on them for a while. 

I was assured everything was okay and we were good to go, and the property has been under their management for awhile now.I recently found out that all properties in Austin are required to list the OL # in the description for advertisements (which includes Airbnb, VRBO, ect.) from a friend that works at another property management company in Austin.
