If the mailing address is the same address as the house and it is vacant, send a postcard to the house and put "Return Service Requested" on the mail to ask for the new forwarding address.- "Skip Trace" the address to get the owner's public information (from several unknown data sources) There are several companies / applications that do skip tracing.

They also said sellers tend to be more willing to talk and work with someone who is local and actually looked at their specific property as opposed to someone who is shot gunning thousands of post cards to every house off a list they bought.

Account Closed, I bought a 200+ unit deal on a direct mail campaign.Just a couple tips, before you buy your list, make sure you know exactly what type of targets you are going after such as location, sub market, # of units, age, demographics, etc.Next is you need to make sure your copy and call to action in your letter/post card matches and speaks to your target audience.
