@Jordan GerkinIn Illinois, typically 75% of your property taxes go the public school district, the rest is split between townships, libraries, fire departments and the city/village, etc.

My quick stab...Steamboat Springs, CO (Southwest just started flying here, ranked best ski town last year)Summit County, CO (sheer population boom to Denver is no brainer)Lake Tahoe, CA (second home boom in Truckee, Incline Village, etc. areas from mass exodus of Bay Area) Park City, Utah (proximity to airport and large/growing population base)Not sure of #5, maybe Stowe VT (Burlington) area

The private waterfront, proximity to a tourist Bavarian village, 15 mins to 2 lakes and a golf course, and 35 mins to a ski resort makes it a pretty prime location.

Hi, I have been a member to the site for a while but never really got involved, my bad :oops: I am a Realtor working for a new home builder in a very hot area of West Palm Beach and I don't mean hot because it is 90 degrees out.Anyway the area is called Loxahatchee/Royal Palm Beach, it is only a 10 min drive to West Palm Beach, cute mom & pop family village type of place with A+ schools, so people from other parts of the state are moving here to avoid the rat race and raise their children in a nice community with good schools and not far from civilization (shopping).
