Hello Fellow Members,

As the title suggest my name is Justin and I am 21 years old. I live in Westlake Village, CA (40min) from LA. My life long goal is to be a high end real estate developer and create high-end residential properties and I do want to get involved in the acquisition side of commercial properties. I currently work at a real estate firm which is owned and operated by a real estate developer and investor. I literally just started working there yesterday but already hate it because they are focusing on the cold-calling and door-knocking, which wasn't the idea I was looking towards. I am not afraid of hard work. I just want to know being a 21 year old, how do I get on the fix/flipping side of things and begin my journey to developing high end homes. I know it doesn't happen overnight, however a huge part of me does not want to sell real estate like my job wants me to do, I want to create real estate. I have been reading countless books and forums, however I would like a more personal take by those of you who have done it. What would you recommend to a guy like me to get started and see some profit within this realm, I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you so much!

PS: I also go to college and am a full time student so I do not have a great amount of time.

-Justin
