I am pretty sure I will be offering less than what the raw land would be because it will require so much clean up, and even if it is grandfathered for lots, the lots cannot be used as such until well and septic are upgraded.

I know there are a bunch of ADU threads, but the issues can get confusing to find answers to, so I thought I'd separate out the garbage, utility and parking issues.I've been joyously pouring over the Fresno City Development Codes......ouch, I bit my tongue.....looking at what it would take to develop raw land and ADU issues - just all of it.

Yes, we are still in escrow…but after a long and emotional conversation with my fiancee this afternoon, we have decided that although it would be a dream to own this piece of raw land, it just doesn’t make sense to take on a liability at this time in our lives, let alone one that we're 90% excited about.A bit of context: my fiancee and I have a dream of one day owning a chunk of land that we can take care of and build a nest on.
