How do you handle renting to people who have dogs that are classified as "aggressive breeds"?

Hi AllI just found out that one of my tenants has a pit bull type dogNot too long ago, I had all my tenants sign a rental addendum acknowledging that certain breeds are not allowed (like pit bulls)The good news is that the tenant says they will get rid of the dog as the tenant says he was waiting for a relative to reclaim the dog but for whatever reason, it's taken longer than it shouldI plan to give them a notice of breach but I wasn't sure how long is a reasonable time to cure the breachIs one month the typical time to cure non-rent payment breaches?

Most breeders do not allow others to breed their ferrets offspring as it is bad for their business so they also spay and neuter before selling. 

I do have breed restrictions for insurance purposes.
