Renters with Ferrets
Good morning,
I received an application for renters with ferrets and I am unfamiliar with the kind of impact ferrets have on homes. I know cats urine is bad for homes, and large (especially aggressive) dogs can be as well, however I am curious if any of you have any kind of experience renting to families with two ferrets. A quick Google revealed that they smell and have an odor however I have not seen anything on whether or not they chew things like carpet or wood trim up. We do have a pet deposit that will be necessary as well and feel like it should be covered, but if these things turn out to be miniature T-Rex's in the home, then I am not sure how much the deposit will cover.
Thanks in advance for any experiences you may have had.
