Can someone offer some area insight as I've only just moved back to NY a month ago?

Some people would consider every home in Buffalo NY a C class property compared to other areas.Where do you invest, and what is your definition of C class?

I am currently closing on an investment property in Memphis TN and looking to do a 1031 in Buffalo NY as I will be moving there next week.

As such, I am working in Upstate NY as a general laborer for a remodeling company.

@Dean Lupowitz I have experience in both single families and multi in NY, as well as section 8.

But after a visit back home to Rochester, NY a couple of weeks ago I'm getting the bug to try investing there. 

Hey @Nicholas Giordano, I think @Jaysen Medhurst nailed it when he mentioned that CT is a bit more landlord friendly when compared to MA and NY...as liberal as CT can be it does have that much going for it!

Beware the "bigger fool" theory;  I would not consider upstate NY as a long term play.
