We put a fiberglass insert around a tub in a similiar bathroom (not in the tub) and left the rest of the tile but we did not have nearly so much tile.

It is currently being management by property management and I did not have any role in finding this tenant or involved in any manner regarding these repairs.Several of the repair requests are due to electrical problems but it also ranges in problems with disposal, add freon to air-conditioning, Porch fiberglass panels blew off in high winds, etc..

You just cut the sides down to size with a hacksaw, then stick in the corners and put in the screen -- I got a whole roll of fiberglass screen and the kit comes with the spline.
