Blinds in your rental properties

Who installs blinds in their rental property? Does it depend on the area and rent amount? If so, do you include the inexpensive 1" mini blinds? Any and all thoughts appreciated.

    Blinds get broken and get thrown in the trash. Curtains get a little dusty and can be washed and rehung or re-used at a different rental. I'd also like to think my way is better for the environment. :)
