I've had some repairs and upgrades done to my own home so I have an idea of what some costs are but I don't want to get blindsided by anything when it comes to a multi-unit property.This is an exciting process and I'm learning new things with every response.

We were blind sided by the new development of them coming back to us in three days - she had not mentioned this before. 

Right now I can't find too many down sides and as its our first I feel like I'm gonna get blind sided by something.

I know the basics and feel like I could start but am worried I will be blind sided by something I wasn’t prepared for.

Buying the company is definitely a strategy, but it comes with its own set of landmines to look out for - the biggest risk is you can get blindsided by something that happened under the previous ownership. 

One major hurdle that blindsided us was trying to get financing for it. 

I hate being blindsided.

I'd like to help any way I can, but I also don't want to get burned or blindsided. 

It is your responsibility not to be blindsided but to have an airtight agreement that is properly sign.
