If he feels he still has rights to the rental and the deposit, then that also means he has responsibilities for the damage and is subject to charges.

Have some initial conversations to see who’s responsive, knowledgeable, and investor-friendly.Once you find a good fit, you can focus on building a strong relationship with that one realtor.

Hello Everyone,I am currently in the market for a knowledgeable and proactive real estate agent in Florida to assist with sourcing high-potential Fix-and-Flip opportunities.

Just wanted to make what is the first of many posts and say hello to everyone :) If anyone has knowledge of multifamily investing in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge area (or is on a similar path), feel free to connect!

But on this specific guy, I jumped on a call to explore the program and it was a high pressure sales call, it did not feel organic, not trustworthy and certainly did not feel the right fit.Why would someone spend 10k on a so niched-down space of real estate when they can get someone for the same amount to teach him/her everything?  

They contain shortcuts to knowledge and potentially community. 

Certainly nothing ground-breaking in terms of ideas here, however I'll be very hands on (and on site) during the process to make sure that every step of the way is executed to a high standard and very carefully.Once I've hopefully developed a successful track record and gained experience, my next goal would be to move on to commercial assets (think multi-family, industrial etc) so that I can leverage my existing investor network and real estate knowledge to raise 3rd party equity and take on bigger projects.

Adding the real estate investment and management concentration could definitely be worth it if it gives you solid knowledge and good networking opportunities.
