Why are you asking random strangers on the internet about a situation regarding YOUR personal morality?

On the other hand, your attitude, ticks me off and I am a STRANGER.

Loan tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to strangers without the opportunity to meet them or personally inspect the property, through an anonymous internet website where you don’t know the brokers?

I certainly am not going to give it to a stranger.

10% sounds like a low estimate to me.1) They are behind on rent at their current place, have abandoned any idea of catching up on their rent there, and want to move before court eviction.2) They are living with someone else (family, friends, roommates, strangers, soon-to-be ex,) don't like their living situation very much, and desperately want to move. 

Virtually everyone on twitter is a stranger to me.

I don't care what it is...if they have a "10 day deadline.." they need to take a hike...That alone has red flags all over it..The seller would be better off just negotiating with the mortgage company themselves and NOT deeding their house over to strangers....

Better have a thick skin, though, and some real courage to knock on a strangers door.Those are just a couple of ideas.

I M O , it's a much different world in terms of safety for a man than it is a woman.I wouldn't recommend a woman ever meeting with strangers alone in the first place, regardless of the working class you are dealing with.
