I don't really have any issue with repairs but for regularly scheduled mowing which I'm paying $176 (including the 10%) for two visits a month for a tiny yard seems a little crazy to me.

During this whole time I mucked around in tiny crawl spaces with mouse crap and snakes, cleaned sewage off of myself more than once, made at least two emergency room visits (one for drilling a hole straight through my hand installing cabinet knobs), sweated my *** off in attics in the summer.

When first starting out using a Buy and Hold strategy and with limited capital, do you think it's better to purchase a bunch of lower priced properties in lower quality / depressed areas or spend a little bit more but have less quantity or rentals (but presumably higher quality tenants) for properties in an area that is well known for being a "good" area?
