Right, because rather than give the actual correct answer and suffer the blow to your ego that you've been doing something wrong for decades, you'd prefer to take a swipe at my ego.

I have enough in my US accounts to buy a property outright but I'd prefer to buy with leverage. 

@Joel Oh- if you are using a loan to acquire the property - the lender  requires  insurance ....if you own the property  free and  clear - your  choice  but I would still  recommend  insurance

Like @Bruce Woodruff I prefer VRBO guests but I haven't had terrible luck with AirBNB guests.

They can give you more insights to accurate rent, tenant preference and etc.

But, all payments with Baselane goes via Stripe gateway, and they apparently have no choice but to honor those requests due to their agreement with Stripe.
