If you would like to avoid that process, then you can either close with a portfolio loan or DSCR, and just vest title in your LLC from the beginning @Lau Cor. 

I have renovated my own home (which I now rent out), and I've begun the process of building my DREAM community - a pocket neighborhood in the foothills of Colorado.

Should we wait until we move to the states or start the process now?

Hi @Sean Leahy - good direction, I've never considered this but now that I think about, whenever I've had some random rental/sale listings I've been approached by brokers who said they represent folks that are part of the insurance company's claim management process (e.g. their house burnt down due to an accident). 

We have a ongoing list of each along with their fees and what state they are licensed to collect debt in.

I experience the poor processing and unprofessional work they do.

The differences between most software is subtle and may be how they bill for their service, support their product, or the process to use those features.

Hopefully any BP members in the LA situation can benefit from the thought process.
