Are there any local hidden Taxes I need to be aware of?

I'll sound like a broken record, but STRs definitely hold a lot of hidden costs and regulations.

So, were these repairs where another problem (termite damage or rot) was hidden, or incomplete work on the contractors end like not putting tyvek under the siding or something like that? 

I live in Kansas City and have been visiting Branson for the last 15 years but it seems like it has remained a hidden gem for investment purposes.  

Use your VA loan to get a primary residence that needs some love, find something that requires primarily cosmetic work, get your hands dirty, and make it a gem.

Initially I had a feeling you didn’t really know what you’re talking about but now it’s crystal clear you have no idea what your saying and you are more than likely just another misleading , Detroit PM nightmare like 99% of the other PM’s in Detroit with all sorts of hidden fees, secret add-on’s who work against the tenant rather then with them so they end up vacating and you guys salvate over another nickel and dime placement fee.The question ‘why’ in your first comment has absolutely NOTHING to do with it I am simply sharing my experiences.

You have to weed through them to find the gems.

Can’t drop that 300k property you bought that turns out to have knob and tube hidden in the walls.

There are a lot of hidden opportunities in our market.

Are there any hidden pitfalls or unexpected benefits I might have missed?
