With all due respect to Joann, this is how I believe her question should be phrased.

Instead of posting "I want to do this but need help," post something more along the lines of "I can do X for you if you do Y for me," and phrase it that way  in conversation.

using words phrases like "take the plunge" won't get you much business.

I am sure if you search here for "direct Mail" or similar phrases, other names will come up.
