Standard stuff.What I do remember clearly to this day, is being in the middle of logging operations when a stranger drove up. 

I am almost leaning towards sending a general and "cookie-cutter" letter to these homeowners because I don't know how I would feel receiving a letter from a complete stranger with some personal details about my life and family.

I bet the number of times an experienced investor here on BP has deeded their house to a stranger and trusted them to take over payments is few to none.

I imagine there is an art to this, since you're some stranger coming over unannounced claiming salvation.

You can hire someone on Craigslist to help you out (offer to pay them $50 for some simple point-and-shoot pictures), but again... it's hard to predict how responsive and reliable a random stranger from the internet is going to be.3.
