So that type of loan will not work.You are clearly mistaken with your understanding of commercial/portfolio loans.That is just a term for a type of loan product that's available in the market.They do not require "commercial" properties or a "portfolio" of properties.They are available on everything including SFH's and residential 2-4 unit MFR's.
