We live in New Hampshire, the tenants lease is up in March 2021, And other than this one incident we’ve had no problems with the tenants in the two weeks we’ve known them.

If you end up getting your license, you will be paying quarterly MLS fees Depending if you go NH or Mass- the state requirements may be different- in Massachusetts you take can take the 40 hour course all online, in person, or a mix of both- the exam is 80 national and 40 state questions where you need 70% to pass on each portion

yes. try to stick below Portchester (on NH Line), Mount Kisco (on Harlem Line) and Croton on Hudson (on Hudson line).

https://www.biggerpockets.com/...Also, keep in mind, if you’re looking 2-3 hrs away from nyc then you’ll be managing it remotely anyway, so might as well remotely manage a place that will actually make you big money down south.Though, if you’re REEEEAAALLLLYYY set on investing in the Northeast, I’d go with Vermont or New Hampshire bc they’re the only legit ski places in the northeast.

@Steve Bracero yeah that’s kinda my idea jumping into singles or condos in Salem nh, some fixer uppers and foreclosures are going for 60k there and I could rent it out for easily 1k-1.1k (again I keep rent cheap to kinda force people to stay and they actually really care for the place more
