I've been scouting the neighborhood and have found a house that appears vacant.

If not, do you have any tips for scouting multiple banks for financing?

I have scouted several possibilities but wanted some advice on how to source a duplex in this area. 

@Matthew Wilson - I tend to use Google Earth (different than google maps) all the time along with the property assessors map to scout out local properties that have attributes that I like such as garages, parking, multis, etc.

But the real reason I would prefer someone else is I'm hoping to get an objective opinion of what the house might look like, neighborhood, is it safe, etc. and whether the property scout I'm using would they live there?
