Broke analysis paralysis, diving in head first.

Hi guys, after researching myself into paralysis,  I've decided to push into real estate full speed ahead. With that being said. I'd just like to ask and see if my plan sounds okay. And basically ask for all around advice, and a bit of proofreading.

I just bought my first house in July for a permanent residence.  I've been scouting the neighborhood and have found a house that appears vacant. I plan to wholesale this house if possible. ( I'm not on the wholesale hype train I promise.) And I only plan this so I can finance a real estate license. In Illinois you have to have it to wholesale more than one house in a 12 month period.

I'm trying to get my real estate license in order to have access to the MLS, and other resources only available to licensees. Once I have it my long term plan is to buy and hold and landlording. As you can see the first wholesale is only a means to an end.

that being said. I'm trying to get in touch with a real estate lawyer. As I haven't found a title company that will do assignments, and double closing is terrifying to me.

it isn't much of a plan, but it's what I'm working with now. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to build longterm financial freedom and wealth, as I'm absolutely miserable in my job. I'll take anything I can get. Thanks BP

@Craig Barter - Welcome to BP!  I think you'll really enjoy the people and resources provided here.

Love your idea of getting your license to get access to better resources as well as just the education that comes with it.  I did the same thing and have been super happy with the decision.

I have some good connections with attorneys and title companies that can handle everything you are talking about.  Feel free to pm me and I can provide their contact details.

Sounds like a solid plan to me, now, just have to continue that daily consistent action to put it in place.  A plan without action is just that, a plan.

Just curious, where are you at in Illinois?  Any where near Chicago?
