If it is fast cash you need I might could structure something together.

The land has slightly increased in value (by like maybe 3-4% over 3 or so years) but the value of the structure I'm pretty sure has gone nowhere.

(i.e. initial decorating and painting, bookings, rate structures, marketing, bookkeeping housekeeping, etc)? 

You can get very creative with structure to make it a win win.

This area of Tahoe and north though has had massive fires last few years but its so remote very few structures actually burnned.

I'd have to see your overall layouts but I think you are on the right track. we build 3 story stacked triplexes and it's very efficient so don't be afraid to go up either. anytime you build more than 1 structure costs are much higher but if its just to offset mortgage and you want to be separate then I understand.
