Their cost of living is so much less.For example, we have a rock star VA/Lead Manager just across the border that went to a private high school here in San Diego that we pay $8.50/hr which is the equivalent of $25/hr here.And for the jobs that require more local support like Acquisitions Managers, we hire Americans.

Jacksonville to me is 4 major border counties, and they are all have pockets of deals and good property managers.

I did get lost in an area of town that showed lots of crime online (through one of those crime star websites) bordering the mid-westside and New Town and didn't feel like i was in danger.

Hi, Noam,I grew up practically on the border of Parma/Old Brooklyn, and have some family that owns in Old Brooklyn.  

In this regard, you should have access to Canadian practitioners (local Canadian Attorneys, Accountants) that are very familiar with the cross border structuring aspects of real estate investments inbound to the US.I do mostly non real estate outbound structuring work (US into Canada) not inbound work, so I will defer (as I do in my actual work) to an inbound Canadian expert who in this case should do a lot of work with real estate structuring.
