I also went snowboarding on 2 awesome powder days and I was able to eat dinner with my family 6 out of 7 nights.

To be quite truthful with you, I don't like hearing about Detroit, but my husband listens to the radio everyday about Detroit, so I listen to it when I'm cooking dinner.  

Take one of them or both out to dinner. 

People have events all the time in portable tent like structures; church picnics, non profit group dinners, corporate parties.

Coffee / drinks / dinner which ever works.

Any experienced Houston investor interested in a free dinner/drinks next week at a restaurant of his/her choosing to have a newbie pick their brain about marketing techniques.
