Newbie question
So based on our experiences in the last two years in our current location between renting and then ultimately buying a home, my wife and I have become acquainted with two realtors that we both think very highly of. One has a lot of experience in property management and owns investment properties of her own and the other is great at the buying/selling side.
I really want to pick their brains but I'm not sure how to approach them. It's not that I feel like I would be a nuisance because they are both very friendly and approachable, but I realize that they are both extremely busy and I guess I would feel more confident if I felt like I had something to offer in return. I feel like sending an email that says something like "hey, I want to invest in real estate, can you let me know if any good deals pop up" would be super unprofessional, lol, but all jokes aside, I really have no idea how to start that conversation.
Any ideas/suggestions? Am I being ridiculous? I am, aren't I?
Thanks everyone!
