I've been able to pick up a couple units creatively so I wouldn't have to compete with them but once a house lists, my experiences have been frustrating.

The tenant said that they moved out on the 31st but said they could not get me the keys before the 1st and told me I had to pick them up from their friend's business.

After some breakfast in downtown, I was picked up by my real estate agent/friend to check out the property.

Split premiums are rarely done in practice but in theory its nice to talk about them as it makes the borrower feel like they have choice but I've never had any borrower pick the split premium option when given all of the choices in the last 7 years I've been in the lending biz.

I agree with the poster above ... business with a concentration in Finance would be my first pick ... it applies well to RE, and it also "travels well" if you decide to initially pursue a job outside of RE ...

I'd have hard time imagining they'd be very good at picking stocks.

But now that it's over,the fight begins to find that next client.There is so much to learn and so much to do that it seems overwhelming.You have to accept that it's going to take time and instead of trying to do a ton of things at the same time,pick one or two tasks per day and devote the time to getting those done.Small and steady steps will keep you moving forward,that's the game plan.I need to build a website that clients will enjoy seeing and using.I have to reach out and touch every person I know or use to know and still talk to on Facebook.I'm planning on a lot of lunches and dinners with former high school classmates and fellow employees from my previous career of 20 years.

I made adjustments and Recently that has picked up.
