Hi! Lisa McMillan here! I retired 5 years ago from a 20 year career in banking. Real estate has always been in the back of my mind and Nw it is at the forefront. Looking to covert some of my paper assets into real estate holdings. I am starting from ground zero, but I've envisioned owning a couple of  vacation rentals and longer term rentals. Maybe even doing some hard money lending. I want to learn enough to just dive right in and then build from there.  Happy to have found this forum!! Looking forward to engaging with you!

Welcome @Lisa McMillan (and @Dana Dotson)

There are quite a few active BiggerPocket members here in the Charlotte area. If you haven't already done so, be sure to add "Charlotte" as one of your Key Word Alerts so you will see all the local discussions and posts for Meetups.

@Dave Hurt normally hosts a Charlotte Meetup of Biggerpocket members at the beginning of the month so be sure to keep a look out for it.
