If the software is not simplifying your life or making you more accurate, you shouldn't use it.Software does have extremely helpful features like online payments, marketing syndication (click a button and your property is advertised on multiple sites), electronic document review/signing, maintenance tracking, and owner reports.

That’s just uneccessary friction.Or if they are paying electronically, they have to use the Equity Trust Platform, I believe, not sure if they’ve changed that.So do your research on which has the easiest most responsive platform for moving money in and out.Equity Trust also takes a long time to process new investments so I’ve actually had them wire loan proceeds far in advance of closing to my attorneys officeEither way, it’s a great way to get much better fixed income returns than other Wall Street products.Just a side note, on the equity side of things, I am not a fan of investing in buy and hold investments that I would take title directly, like smaller deals.
