Apparently they just dont have the man power to service anything unless there is a clear revenue stream for them I mentioned that I had heard that the REO market was taking off and must be sending more business their way.

We don't take lightly to agents who wine about 5% commission, or aren't willing to work for the listing, so ultimately, we have the power to switch agents any time we want to.If you become an REO agent, be prepared to work, and sometimes for a little commission (we pay $2500 or 6%, whichever is greater from $1-$250K, then 5% after that).

I think these properties would appeal to women much more than the "average" house and I'm a big believer in women having a lot of power and influence when it comes to house buying.

I have seen many people unable to move in right away because their agent failed to warn them about this custom, or they did not read the contract.Just remember to read your contract, and understand that if you want the property, you will surrender your rights and power in closing to the whims of the seller.... and the seller has good reason to control...If you want some horror stories... drop me a line...

If prices are going down just because prices are generally going down and buyers are feeling spooked, that's one thing.But if it is depreciating because the drug dealers are moving into the neighborhood and all the factories have closed and there is no living wage work, then that is a different situation entirely.Also, when you are running your figures, remember that the dollar loses perchasing power over time.
