I am on fire to get going, and to stay on track with my plan I will have to buy minimum 1 property this year.  

When you learn the business after a year or two you can either go out on your own or stay with them. 

If you stay in one market for multiple investments it may take you a bit to find this particular inspector.

Tenant 2 stays. 5 months goes by to come to find out that now tenant 2 moved out without our knowledge and let squatters move in.. had to file for eviction, got them out finally.

Not at all looking to stay strictly in the NYC area; have been looking around at markets in Long Island, Upstate New York, New Jersey, and the surrounding region.

My easiest, no hassle, lowest expense rentals are the ones where the tenants stay 5 + years, do minor maintenance themselves, call me immediately with any issues so I can fix them before they become much more costly, and agree to annual market adjusted rent rate increases.
