Introduction to myself

Joshua Simmons
Posted

Hello All,

My name is Josh Simmons.  For 20 years I have been in the oil & gas drilling industry.  3 years ago, I became a drilling consultant and started my own business.  I am currently contracted to a large major energy company and I work a 2 week rotation in West Texas, so two weeks on and two weeks off.  Because of the additional income I am producing through the consulting business, I am afforded the opportunity to invest money in real estate.  My goal is to purchase 15 units in the next 5 years, and produce a cash flow of $20k per month within the next 10 years.  My wife is joining me on this journey.  She will soon have her RE license and we will work the business together.  I am on fire to get going, and to stay on track with my plan I will have to buy minimum 1 property this year.  I will use the 2 weeks off I have every month to researchI have owned a rental property in the past and it was extremely lucrative for me, and I didn’t even know what I was doing then haha! I am a little older, a little more knowledgeable now, and I’m reading everything I can get my hands on.  Drop me a line to connect, and if you’re in  the Tyler or East Texas area, let’s go get lunch or have a beer.  I would enjoy meeting other like minded investors in my area.  Cheers!
